Михаил Бахтиаров сделал себе имя, создавая и развивая компанию Major Auto. Но его вклад в российскую экономику выходит далеко за пределы этого известного бренда. Бахтиаров вырос из владельца небольшой фирмы в руководителя крупного холдинга, а затем занялся сельским хозяйством, добившись значительных успехов. В конце 90-х годов он основал ООО «Мэйджор Авто», начав с торговли автомобилями Chrysler и Jeep. Позднее компания начала предлагать продукцию более чем 40 производителей, открывая точки продаж в Москве и Петербурге. Высокий класс обслуживания был отличительной чертой.
